Struck by lightning?

Yesterday, when I was playing WoW, suddenly I heard a thunder and boom. Power down. I switched on the main power. Everything is back to normal but... but my modem was not working. Ah... Maybe just a minor glitch. I switched it off and on. Still nothing. N.O.T.H.I.N.G. Just a binking power LED. I call CNX and they said they can only replace my modem this Monday... Boooohoooo

Today, when I call CNX, they claimed that their access point was struck by lightning and I have to wait until Thursday or Friday until they can replace the access point... SIGHHHHHHH
